Our Beliefs

  1. We believe the Bible is the inspired and only infallible, authoritative Word of God. It reveals mankind’s need for a Savior and God’s provision of a Savior. It speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind. It is good for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness.

  2. We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, equal in majesty: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  3. We believe God is love and that He is holy, infinite, all-present, all-knowing, all-powerful, and unchanging. He spoke all of creation, seen and unseen, into being from nothing and proclaimed it good.

  4. We believe in the full deity and full humanity, perfect in union, of our Lord Jesus Christ, and in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His imminent and physical return in power and glory.

  5. We believe God fashioned Adam, the first man, from the dust and breathed life into him. God created man, male and female, innocent and in the image of God. They sinned, disobeying God’s command, resulting in God's judgment and the introduction of death and decay into all creation. Because mankind's natural state is now spiritually dead and sinful, regeneration by the Holy Spirit, at the moment one believes, is essential for salvation and spiritual development.

  6. We believe salvation is a secure and eternal gift of God, one that is not earned by being good enough; rather it is solely a result of placing one’s faith in Christ’s substitutionary and atoning crucifixion and death.

  7. We believe the present ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify Christ and to regenerate, indwell, and seal Christians enabling them to live a godly life. We believe the Holy Spirit gives gifts to the Church, empowering its witness and declaration of the gospel while convicting the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment.

  8. We believe in living out the Great Commission by making, baptizing, and teaching disciples everywhere what Jesus commanded. We believe in living out the Great Commandments by completely loving God and loving our neighbors as Jesus loves us.

  9. We believe that at death every believer is immediately in the presence of the Lord. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved to the resurrection of eternal life in heaven with Jesus and the lost to the resurrection of eternal judgment in hell with Satan and the fallen angels.

  10. We believe in the priesthood of all true believers and their spiritual unity through the body of Christ, the Church.

  11. We believe that marriage is an institution created and established by God and that it is a covenantal, sexual, procreative, lifetime union between one biological male and one biological female for humanity’s good and God’s glory.
